The Bufinidas Show
“I’m neither left or right/I’m just staying home tonight/Getting lost in that hopeless little screen”

“The Girl With the Beautiful Eyes”

Here’s a song I’m writing that don’t seem to fit together the way I wanted it to, but whose melody won’t leave me alone. So, “[w]ould you mind reading it for me and then hitting me in the head with a fairway wood?”

She reappeared on the night it rained
Snuck with guile, after a while, right into my brain
I could try, but what the use? – I can’t lose
or disabuse my heart has strayed from the path I choose.
And I wanna know what it’s all about
To make it easier – to fall out.
But there’s no sign, far as I can tell
So I’ll resign myself to the heaven and hell under your spell
‘So let’s try love, give it a whirl, give it a try
’cause I’m in love with the girl with the beautiful eyes.

And once again I feel this pain I can’t do without
And I know it’s real, but I wanna know what it’s all about
Time just moves so slowly when you’re away
On the phone, but with a heart of stone I don’t know what to say
To get your number, when winter-spring-summer turns into fall
I’m feeling too shy, too afraid to feel anything at all
And I wanna show you, show the whole world, and scream at the skies
That I’m in love with the girl with the beautiful eyes

To tell the truth, I must confess my loneliness
And you can soothe my pain with your caress
For you and me were meant to be, or so I think
But I can’t blame you, but it’s a shame you can’t feel the same
‘Cause if you did, I’d be rid of this pain inside
But if you just don’t feel the same i could just let it slide
So let’s do love, give it a whirl, give it a try
‘Cause I’m in love with the girl with the beautiful eyes

I’ll try to  revise it when I can stand it.
